From Enquiry to Delivery
Enquiry & quotation
You send product, grade, quantity and destination port. We quote FOB or CIF against current origin prices, usually within one working day. For fresh produce, prices move with the harvest, so quotes are typically valid for 3–7 days.
Sample & specification agreement
For first orders we share photographs, grading details and — where practical — physical samples. Size, colour, moisture, packing and labelling are fixed in writing before booking so there is no dispute at destination.
Order confirmation & payment terms
A proforma invoice is issued against the agreed specification. We work on advance TT or an irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight; terms for repeat buyers are agreed case by case.
Procurement & grading
We buy at origin against your specification. Fresh produce is harvested to the vessel or flight date rather than held in storage, then sorted, graded and pre-cooled. Dry goods are cleaned, sorted and moisture-checked before packing.
Packing & pre-shipment inspection
Goods are packed to the agreed specification — mesh bags, ventilated cartons or export bags depending on product. Buyers may appoint a third-party inspection agency (SGS, Intertek or equivalent) at their cost, and we can arrange lab testing for residue, moisture or aflatoxin.
Documentation & customs
We complete phytosanitary certification, certificate of origin, commercial invoice, packing list and any destination-specific certificates, then handle customs clearance at the port of loading.
Shipment & tracking
Container is stuffed, sealed and loaded. You receive the bill of lading and full document set, with container tracking through to the destination port.

Phytosanitary Certificate
Issued by the Plant Quarantine authority for all fresh produce and plant-origin goods, certifying freedom from pests and disease.
Certificate of Origin
Confirms Indian origin; preferential certificates issued where a trade agreement applies to your market.
Commercial Invoice & Packing List
Itemised by grade, carton or bag count, net and gross weight.
Bill of Lading / Airway Bill
Released against agreed payment terms.
Quality & Residue Reports
Third-party lab reports for moisture, colour value (ASTA), aflatoxin or pesticide residue (MRL), arranged on request.
Fumigation Certificate
Where required by the destination country or for specific commodities.
Packing & Container Capacity
Standard specifications by product. Packing can be customised — including buyer-branded cartons and labelling — on confirmed orders.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product. Onion and banana ship as full container loads (approximately 28 MT and 20 MT respectively). Pomegranate and green chilli start at 3 metric tons, and dry red chilli, rice and wheat at 5 metric tons. Smaller trial orders by air can be discussed for fresh produce.
Which ports do you ship from?
Fresh produce for the Gulf and Asia typically moves through Nhava Sheva (JNPT) and Mundra; consignments are also routed through Chennai and Kolkata depending on destination and sourcing region. Air shipments go through Mumbai and Delhi.
Do you provide phytosanitary certificates?
Yes. Every shipment of fresh produce and plant-origin goods carries a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Plant Quarantine authority, along with a certificate of origin and the full commercial document set.
What payment terms do you accept?
We work on advance telegraphic transfer (TT) or an irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight from a reputable bank. Terms for repeat buyers are agreed on a case-by-case basis.
Which Incoterms do you quote on?
We quote FOB Indian port or CIF destination port as standard. CFR and other terms can be arranged on request.
Can we appoint our own inspection agency?
Yes. Buyers regularly appoint SGS, Intertek or an equivalent agency for pre-shipment inspection at their own cost, and we co-ordinate access at the packing facility.
How long does shipment take?
Transit to Gulf ports is typically 7–12 days, Southeast Asia 12–18 days, and Europe 20–28 days from the port of loading. Air shipments to the Gulf arrive in 2–3 days.
Are you APEDA registered?
Aarvoyage Global Exim operates under GST 23ABDCA5559P1Z8 and holds the registrations required for agricultural export from India. Registration certificates are shared with buyers during order confirmation.
